Held in the North Park blocks, the Portland International Beer Festival features over 130 rare and exotic beers from all over the world during the warm summer month of July.
The Waterfront Blues FestivalEvery year in early July, the streets of downtown Portland are lost to rapture as the Waterfront Blues Festival consumes Waterfront Park. Thousands of visitors enjoy great food, a great atmosphere, and performances by some of the biggest names in blues such as Jimmie Rogers, Keb’ Mo’, Kevin Gordon, Luther Johnson, Johnny Winter, and many more.
The Bite of Oregon In recent years the city of Portland has become synonymous with great food, and there is no better way to take advantage of all the delectable and sometimes, contemptible culinary goodness that our city has to offer, than to attend the Bite of Oregon culinary festival. Each year waterfront village is transformed into a veritable epicurean spectacle, showcasing fine foods, wines, and craft beers from every corner of Oregon.
The Portland Art Museum Constructed in 1933, the Portland Art Museum is the oldest art museum on the west coast, and the 7th oldest in the United States. This spectacular collection displays more than 42,000 works of art, listing works by Vincent van Gogh and M.C. Escher as some of their more notable acquisitions.
Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall The centerpiece of Portland’s cultural district, the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall hosts over 900 events each year, and features local productions as well as touring artists and broadway shows. The Arlene Schnitzer concert hall has played host to some of the biggest names in entertainment, from Jerry Seinfeld to Andrea Bocelli, if they’re coming to Portland the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall is where you’ll find them.
